Welcome
The Pt Chevalier Community Centre is available for use by all members of the community. Our location is excellent for people to meet as we are very close to the North-Western Motorway allowing people to come from all over Auckland to meet at a centrally convenient place. There are a number of lovely cafes in the Pt Chevalier arcade and main road within walking distance of the centre and more cafes on Pt Chevalier Road and further on down the road by the beach within 2mins driving distance.
The centre has four rooms of different sizes for hire to suit various needs e.g. meetings, classes, social events, children’s birthday parties. More detail about each room is over at Rooms for Hire The four spaces are known as:
Annex | Downstairs Meeting Room | Lounge | Waiting Room.
(Click on the photos below to view in larger sizes.)
Our building is wheelchair friendly and pushchair friendly. We have secure childproof fencing with outdoor covered areas at both the front and rear of our premises.
A CYF approved OSCAR School Holidays programme is run four times a year from our centre for children from the age of 5 years to 13 years.
We hold a community Market & Craft Day once a month – every third Saturday of the month, except January. See Activities for more detail on Market Days. We also have an on-site a Pre-loved Op Shop.
